Hanoi city Vietnam: Young Men Summoned for Motorcycle Wheelies

On August 10, Kim Lien Ward Police in Hanoi discovered a video showing a group of young men performing motorcycle wheelies on Truong Chinh Street.

The video had been posted on Facebook. Police immediately began verifying the identities of those appearing in the video.

Initial findings identified three young men involved. They were Nguyen Quoc Hiep, 19, Phan Thanh Trung, 17, and Cao Tuan Anh, 18.

Around May, the three allegedly rode motorcycles on public roads while performing wheelies.

The incident reportedly took place on Truong Chinh Street in Hanoi. Riding on one wheel on a public road poses a serious risk of accidents.

After filming the stunt, the group posted the video on social media. Kim Lien Ward Police summoned the individuals involved for questioning.

At the police station, the young men were asked to explain their actions and the origin of the video.

Authorities are continuing to verify the motorcycles and other details related to the case.

The case is being handled to maintain traffic order and safety in the area. Police have warned residents against engaging in dangerous riding practices.

Teenagers in particular are advised not to speed, weave through traffic or perform motorcycle wheelies.

Filming and posting traffic violations on social media may also have negative consequences. Authorities will continue to take action against traffic violations.
